First Things First: What Is A/B Testing?

A/B testing is an optimization technique that can be used to improve the conversion rate on your website.

When you run an A/B test, you divide your website’s traffic into two groups: the treatment group and the control group. The treatment group is given the option to view a different version of your page, while the control group continues to view the version they’re currently viewing.

The goal of A/B testing is to see which version of your page (either the treatment or control) yields higher conversion rates. By comparing these rates, you can determine which version of your page is more successful and use this information to improve it further.

In our Part I of our CRO Tools series, we discuss the basic ones that you need to kickstart your website changes.

Why do A/B Testing?

A/B testing can be an effective way to increase conversion rates on your website by making sure that the content on your pages is relevant and engaging. It can also help you identify problems that may be preventing people from talking about your content or contacting you. By addressing these issues, you can increase interaction and ultimately generate more leads for your business.
